• Islam and Arabic word, means submission to God. Its founder was Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Core of the Islamic belief is,
• i. Belief in the unity of God as the supreme lord of the universe.
• ii. God or Allah is all powerful. All knowing and all pervading.
• iii. Muslims preach the futility of worshiping Idols.
• iv. There are 5 main duties of Muslims –
• Kalma - Profession of faith.
• Namaz - Saying Prayers
• Khairat - Giving almas
• Roza - Keeping Fast
• Haj - and going on a pilgrimage
• Quran - is the Holy book of the Muslims and Makkah is the place of their pilgrimage.
