Charity Or Alms Giving

Charity Or Alms Giving

Essay Writing about Uses Of Charity or Alms Giving By Alifye
We Often hear that man has made very great progress in all spheres of life. As compared to the past, he is, today more civilized, more comfortable and more happy. All this is quite believable. But when we see a beggar in rags or an unfed orphan or a helpless window, we begin to doubt the justness of our claims to great development.
Why are there still countless people who are living in utter want and misery? The hardships of these poor and miserable persons can only be removed if charity becomes common in modern times, It is a bitter fact that even today, a large number of our fellow human beings are without proper food, clothing and shelter.
Religion has made it obligatory for men to help their poor and needy brethren. Those who are well off are clearly told to share their possession with those who are badly off. This would reduce economic disparity between the rich and the poor.
To regularize the institution of charity and to ensure its smooth working. Islam has imposed Zakat upon its followers. Proper collection and distribution of Zakat will solve the problem of beggary in our country to a great extent. Besides this compulsory tax, Islam bids its followers to give as much in charity as possible. From the humanitarian point of view also. charity has its significance. It is our moral duty to support our less fortunate fellow human beings.
There are many kinds of persons who deserve alms. Foremost among them are window, orphans the disabled and the old. We can help them in various ways. If we are rich we can establish orphanages, Hospitals, or training centers where they would be taught some useful trade. Otherwise we can always spare a few coins whenever we meet such a wretched being.
Shakespeare said that the quality of mercy is doubly blessed. The same can be said about charity. The Alms Taker is blessed because he is provided with his daily needs. The alms giver is blessed because he will be rewarded in this as well as the world hereafter. But the purest motive for charity is selfless giving. The man who gives alms only with a view to receiving hundred fold in the next world is ignorant of the true worth and significance of charity.
Sometimes, charity is misplaced. It loses its purpose when we do not distinguish between those who deserve our help and those, who do not Men, women and children who have turned professional beggars are many in number. They are lazy and idle. We do not serve humanity if we spend our money on them. Instead, we should persuade them to give up begging and adopt some respectable profession.
Charity should, therefore be carefully given. we must realize that individual charity is not the solution to the problems created by poverty for that purpose, we must exploit our full resources in an organized manner. he regularization of the institution of Zakat can remove the curse of beggary from our country if we are honest about it. We must ensure that charity is given in an organized manner and the really deserving people profit from it.

Character of Typical Pakistani

The people of Pakistan belong to various racial group and geographical regions. They speaks different languages and wear different kinds of clothes. But what unites them is more than what differentiates them. An average Pakistani has certain characteristics which make him typical Pakistani Muslim.
He is first of all, religious minded. The religion he believes in is Islam and he takes pride in calling himself a Muslim. He has firm faith in Allah, the Prophet and the Holy Quran and he is prepared to take any risk for their sake. There are many other Muslim countries in the world. but perhaps it is only in Pakistan that its inhabitants have so much attachment to Islam.
His love of tradition is also typical. His ways of life and conduct are determined by tradition which consist of certain customs. In a marriage ceremony. for example, he observes the conventions established long ago.
He is a zealous patriot. In this he resembles the people of any other country, but the reasons for this love for his country are a little different. He is a Muslim and knows that Pakistan was achieved in the name of Islam. He therefore, loves Pakistan primarily as an Islamic county. But his sympathies are not restricted to Pakistan only. They extend to the other Muslims countries in the world with whose well being he is equally concerned. Thus he has been one of the most ardent moral supporter of the Arab cause.
There are brave men in all countries but a typical Pakistani is an exceptionally brave man. It is not for nothing that Pakistan is said to have one of the bravest armies in the world. The people all over Pakistan are courageous and daring. Then he is hospitable and is known everywhere as such.
He is hard working Belonging to a basically agricultural community and governed by the conditions of agricultural life, he undertakes rough and toilsome tasks. It is because of this fact that he produces some of the finest crops in the world.
Unfortunately, he is not well off economically, His income is low and he hardly makes his both ends meet. But this does not make him miserly, Strangely enough, he spends quite lavishly, especially on certain special occasions, such as birth, marriage and death. He borrows money very often, and is mostly in debt.
Again his poor economic condition does no turn him into a depressed cynical fellow. To some extent, he is a fatalist. He has full faith in Allah and believes that nothing can happen without His will. His belief enables him to bear the hardships of life with a determinate mind. He is usually cheerful.
The Cheerfulness finds complete expression in fairs and festivals which he celebrates with great devotion and pomp. e.g, the two Eids.
A Typical Pakistani, thus is a religious, patriotic, hospitable, brave, industrious and cheerful person and on account of all these qualities, he becomes a very lovable human being.

Boarding A Train

Boarding A Train

Essay Writing about Uses Of Boarding A Train By Alifye
Last year, I had a memorable experience of forcing my way into a lower class compartment of an express train. I think I will never be able to forget it. A full year has not dimmed its memory. I remember it in every detail, as if it had happened only yesterday.
A friend of mine had invited me to Rawalpindi and unfortunately. I had accepted the invitation, although I had only a few rupees in my pocket. I tried to borrow some money but no one came to my help. All i could borrow was a leather suit-case which my brother lent me on the condition that would replace it if it got damaged.
One fateful morning, I packed my clothes and some old magazines in that suit-case, and went to the station. I bought a lower class ticket and went into the waiting room. The train was late by two hours.
At Last, the train arrived. I picked up my suit-case and ran to the platform. A porter stopped me and offered to carry my luggage for ten rupees. I told him to some other patron for I was young and strong enough to carry my suit-case. One again I rushed towards the train. But it was not a simple matte. The platform presented almost a battle scene. There were hundreds of people in every direction. They looked like a defeat army running for their lives but finding no way to escape.
After a silent prayer to Allah, I jumped into the arene. I had not taken tow steps when a very fat man bumped straight against me, and sent me in a flying somersault. When I came back to the ground. I struck against a tall elderly gentleman. He staggered like a man mortally wounded, and his umbrella, brief-case and a fruit basket went flying in all directions. Before he could know what had happened to him. I had slipped through his legs.
Now I was caught between two crowds trying to force their way in opposite directions. I was almost crushed between the two. My suit-case had been pulled and crushed out of shape. Then a strong wave of people swept me off my feet, and the next moment I was standing before a lower class compartment.
My ordeal had not ended. The door was blocked by a large group of people who attempted to get in simultaneously. At that time. my friend. the porter. who had met me earlier, came to my rescue he repeated his previous offer. This time I gratefully accepted it. He took hold of my shoulders and after a long struggle hurled me over the shoulders of the crowd. and the next moment I was inside rubbing my bruised knees and elbows.
