The Solar System
The Sun has 9 planets --- Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. There are 32 satellites accompanying the planets besides thousands of planetoids, or esteroids and comets. This family of Sun is known as the solar system.

The planet, derived from Greek word Planets, means wanderer. These planets are wandering in fixed orbits unlike the starts, those appear to be stationary. These planets are divided into three categories: Terrestrial Planetsh. (Inner Planets) ---
Mercury. Venus, Earth and Mars. The Earth is to biggest in this category. Jovian Planets (Outer Planets)--- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Enigmatic Planet --- Pluto.
